Loves: Good food, walking in the country, zombie movies and falling asleep to the sound of the rain.

Musical Influences:  I love the complex and true to life lyrics from groups like - Tears for Fears,  Alan Parsons Project,  Bone Thugs N Harmony, Sarah MacLachlan, Alanis Morissette,  just to name a few.  My mentor David A. Slattery has been the biggest influence over the past 9 years.  

Other hobbies and passions:  sewing, which I've done since the age of twelve.  Every kind of cooking and baking; which I love to share.  My goal is to travel the world, using the things I see, smell and taste to enhance my writing.

News from Deanna

Life changes quickly, sometimes without warning.  Often we are the change makers of our own destinies and must choose to walk away from the familiar into the unknown.   After living in the same house for over 20 years and the studio in the same room for nearly ten, the studio has a new home and a new name.  Seven months later,  "The Loft" is hooked back up and ready for new songs.   

Placing music on MySpace started out as a place to upload and share new music with family and friends.  Two songs have received attention from industry professionals.  Details on the BIO Page

I have also started writing things other than songs.  Musings about my own life as well as observations of others, has led me to work a book, ironically called, "Observations and Musings".   Some of these writings are listed on Associated Content .
